Hello po!
Mahal na mahal ko kayo! Kamusta ang bagong taon ninyo??
The weeks are starting to go by sooo fast!
Sister Lut Espiritu is now the most active member in the Darasa Ward! She comes to work with us and has a powerful effect on all our investigators. She says, I was really catholic. it was so sure that i was catholic, but now i know and feel the truth.
We had a Relief Society Reactivation activity with the ward. We meet together at the church, prayed, then went on splits to find the LA sisters in our ward! I found Sister Gaudencia and taught her about the Saviors love. We read a scripture how the Lord wants her to return back to Him to be entangled in the Lords love. She cried and came to church this week!
I OYMed Sister Evelyn on Darasa riles the other day. I felt inspired to share the doctrine of the family with her. She was so touched. I then shared a scripture about how her family can be sealed for forever. She said, "Sister Reed, ito ay sobra sarap!"This is delicious, I want to read this book!" We gave her a book of mormon and she kissed the cover and clinged it tightly to her chest. She wants to be baptized! She is so receptive to the message. The only sad thing is that she lives far away, she was just visiting for the holidays so we will refer her to the other missionaries. I am excited for her!
One of our Investigators Sister Tanchanco is really progressing and coming to church. She just needs a birth certificate to get married first. it is hard when they dont have enough money to do that kind of stuff. I know they lord can help them.
Our mission focus has been working with the members. It is our assignment from the mission president. We are helping them with the how of missionary work. We are working closely with them to teach their friends, that they will help their friends on this journey.
New Years Eve was CRAZY!! They explode fireworks every where! It was so loud! We couldnt sleep....but so beautiful. I kept thinking,,,this would be so illegal in america.....haha
Mahal Ko Kayo! Ingat!
