Mahal ko gawaing mga Misyonero!

Dearest pamilya! A man filled with the love of God, is not content with blessing is own family alone, but ranges through the whole world, anxious to bless the human race. This has been your feeling, and caused you to forego the pleasure of home, that you might be a blessing to others, who are candidates for eternal life. But strangers to the truth. Prophet Joseph Smith. This is my challenge to you. Forget about ourselves and help others be alive in the truth. We are the angles to help the lord. This is the time. This is the last time in the dispensation of our savior. We must help our friends who are candidates for eternal life. This week..... President came to our ward on sunday! He called me back to him and I translated sacrament for him! I was excited to translate it was actually really fun! Nikita came to church! She is excited for her baptism and has so many friends at church and her family. She is 15 and a PM family. She is searching for the truth. She is so cute. We have FHE with her family and cousins tonight! She was catholic before. I will be working in Lipa this week until Wednesday morning. I have splits with the sister training leader! We hiked mount lipa this morning for zone pday! I love hiking! I drank real coconut milk from a coconut! It was actually really good! This week i have learned about the attribute of meekness. I know that meekness is vital for us to become christlike. Without it, we will not be able to develop important virtues. Meekness is the quality of those who are god fearing, righteous, humble, and teachable and patient under suffering. The patient UNDER SUFFERING really stands out to me. Without trials we would never be able to develop the character of Christ. I am grateful for each trail i have so that i can develop Christ like attributes and become more like him. Nagmamahal po kayo lagi! pic 1. sister nikita 2. ilog 3. cleofae Sister Reed

Slam

I label this week as Slam because we were slammed all this week...Yeah!! We have had brown outs while I have been on the computer so i dont have much time. But, the highlights of this week. I know the official ediquitte of eating with my hands! Eva, texted us and said she was grateful for us but wants us to stop. When went to Marily and Mirilyns house and their door was open so we say "tao po". Usually they come out and greet us...Pero. Tapos they slam the door and lock it right infront of us...and then lock it. Very Loud. Nikita who is progressing and passed the baptismal questions told us she would rather go to the Catholic church. her lola is sick so she cant leave the house, only at night time. that is when mass is apparently. The Adors didnt come to church! AH! They wont exactly accept a baptismal date. they are slow learners so we need to use visual aids and videos to teach them. The Orlina family of 10 is progressing! THey are reading the BOM! Yeah! The mother Beverly told us this week, " thank you so much you two. Becuase of you my heart is opened to the word of God. before you came i was sick in my hands and knees and i could not walk. Now, it is gone." Wow. The church is true. She was healed by a blessing of the true church. A new invesitgaotr Salei came to church! Yay! She said Next week ulti! She will come back next week! We are working with the members alot and helping them with referrals! Yaya! Mahal na Mahal Kita! Sister Reed

Redeemer of Iseral

Magandang hapon po pamilya ko! Sana lahat kayo ayos na! Sana iniingat ang sarili mo! This week in Darasa we have been harvesting the power of the members! Talaga. Sobra effective. The tesitmony of another difference opens up our investigators and the Less active members. Highlights from the week: I don't know if i told you this already or not. But i gave our Recent Convert, Sister Lut Espiritu a picture of the Manila templo. And a picture of us at our baptism, with a temple date for next year. She can enter the temple Dec 28, 2014. When i gave it to her. She began to cry. She said, Oh sister, I want to go there. I really do. I want to be worthy to go there. She said, i hope that you sisters will stay for a long time here. I dont want to give you to anyone else! She was so sweet. I know that her family will become sealed for time and eternity. What a blessing. WHen i was walking down the riles of Darasa, the little children run to me and say, "pikachu"! The pokemon. Then i say it in a really high voice and they all laugh. They are so cute. THey all run up and grab onto my hand. They are all precious children of our Father in Heaven. The Orlina Family, the family of 10 is progressing. Pero, only 3 of the children came to church today. I am hopeing to help each one to have a testimony. It all starts with the parernts. I read a really good talk this week. "None were with Him". By Elder Holland. If we think our life is hard. Study the life of the Savior. What He did overcomes all we will experience here on this earth. It makes life possible. Knowing He overcame what we are gonging through. Means there is always light at the end of the tunnel. Sister Nikita is progressing but she didnt come to church :(. She is 16 and a part member family. She is so cute. The wa ys of the world and the bible are knit so tightly around her world. We slowly start to cut those bands through the BOM. ASnd the spirit. We found a new family. The Ador family. THey came to church this week! They came and sat toghter! They are slow of learning but i feel the spirit with them. Members made them feel welcome and they were included in church. They had a good experience, i hoipe that they will come back! We had a district pday. Then, all the elders in our zone came to our chappel. Haha, our zone is really close! We are all like family! We played volley ball and other games at the church! I love when we get to be active! p.s. i attached the picture of the Orlina children! yen lang, wala oras na. Mahal na mhal kita! Ingat kayo lagi! Sister Reed :) re
